The TUNLAND G9 is available in Poland, as is the Tunland G7, in a 4×4 version with a 1968 cc diesel engine producing 162 hp (119 kW). It delivers a maximum torque of 388 NM. The Aucan engine, developed by Foton in cooperation with Ricardo, was designed to reduce weight and provide maximum performance and durability. Equipped with a Bosch injection system, the engine guarantees EURO 6E-compliant emissions. The Tunland G9 is available with a 6-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission.

Tunland with ZF8 automatic transmission is equipped with BorgWarner’s forward all-wheel-drive system, offering four driving modes , 2H/AUTO/4H/4L , of which ATUO mode can realize automatic switching between all-wheel drive and two-wheel drive, and an automatic mode that distributes torque between the front and rear axles, which can easily meet the needs of multi-scenario vehicles.
The steering wheel of the model with automatic transmission is also equipped with shift paddles , which allow easy gear changes and reflect the pleasure of driving.
BorgWarner Emissions Systems is a pioneer and world leader in EGR systems. The Foton Tunland is equipped with an innovative EGR valve in combination witha BorgWarner VGT turbocharger.
The BorgWarner VGT turbocharger uses variable geometry technology to adjust boost pressure according to changing operating conditions, ensuring that power is always adequate and that the turbo has a long service life with minimal lag. The Tunland also features the renowned 4WD part-time system with electronic control from BorgWarner.
The unique torque-boosting feature reduces the risk of burrowing, allowing you to fully enjoy off-road driving.
Bosch’ s latest German electronically controlled high-pressurecommon rail system features high combustion efficiency, low CO2 emissions, low noise, high energy savings and high environmental friendliness, which improves driving comfort and lowers operating costs.

STRENGTHS:The automatic transmission in the Tunland model is the famous ZF8, manufactured by the renowned German company ZF, which now produces the 8-speed automatic transmission used by many car brands such as Audi, BMW, Alfa Romeo, Jaguar, Land Rover, Maserati and Porsche.
Compared to the traditional 6-speed automatic transmission (6AT), maximum torque has been increased by 100 Nm, shift performance has increased by 50%, transmission efficiency has increased from 14% to 96%, and fuel consumption has been reduced by 6%.
Three driving modes are available: normal, ECO and SPORT.
