Kamaz Poland also bets on gas

In October, one of the stages of the CNG vehicle rally “Blue Corridor 2013 Hansa” took place in our country.
Among the caravan of cars taking part in it was also a medium-haul Kamaz with a garbage truck-type body. It has aroused enough interest among Polish customers that Kamaz Poland intends to introduce this variant to its offer soon.
Wojciech Traczuk – Kamaz Polska’s sales director – said “in numerous cases Polish customers were not at all aware that Kamaz also offers variants with a gas power system.
Therefore, the opportunity to get a closer look at such a version during the 2013 Hansa CNG Blue Corridor rally was a pleasant surprise for them.
The surprise, by the way, was twofold.
Once, that Kamaz has so far been rather little associated with lighter vehicles, but rather with heavy-duty vehicles dedicated mainly to numerous specialized and specialized applications.
Meanwhile, Kamaz has been producing such lighter cars (12 tons GVW) for many years.
Two, that Russian manufacturers have so far hardly been seen in our country as potential suppliers of environmentally friendly rolling stock powered by alternative fuels.
Therefore, in order to now discount Kamaz’s promotional success at the 2013 Hansa CNG Blue Corridor rally, Kamaz Poland will take several initiatives in the coming months.
First of all, we will try to introduce lighter variants to our offer.
In addition, we will also want to further expand our offer just for the executions with a gas power system.
