At the 17th International Fair of Public Transport TRANSEXPO, taking place in Kielce from October 16-18, Autobags Poland, the general importer and distributor of the Turkish company BMC in Poland, will present three buses. Among them will be two 12-meter models from the Procity: the base 12 M Diesel and a novelty on the Polish market-the all-electric 12 M Electric, which will have its national premiere. The third vehicle is the Neocity 9M CNG gas midibus. The 12 M Electric was designed as an electric vehicle from the ground up, so it is not just an adaptation of the diesel version. It features a modern design with large glass areas and batteries located on the roof. The bus offers technological flexibility, allowing a choice between indigenous components, such as the engine and batteries from Turkish company Aselsan, and imported options. Various battery capacities are available, ranging from 111.6 kWh to 362 kWh, allowing the range to be tailored to the carrier’s needs. The gas-powered Neocity 9M CNG is one of the few midibuses on the market powered by compressed natural gas or biogas. It is equipped with a proven Cummins L9N E6 engine and three gas tanks with a total capacity of 945 liters. The bus underscores Autobags’ commitment to promoting alternative fuels and environmentally friendly transportation solutions. Autobagi Poland, as part of a multinational company specializing in commercial vehicles, emphasizes providing modern and economically viable solutions. The company emphasizes the need for a sustainable approach to the energy transition in transportation, paying attention to the full cost of ownership (TCO) and the impact on future generations. According to
Wojciech Traczuk, development director of Autobags Poland , the company aims to offer comprehensive solutions, supporting customers not only in the selection of vehicles, but also in adapting infrastructure and acquiring green energy sources.
In the context of a multi-energy strategy, Autobags is promoting the use of locally sourced biogas, such as from biogas plants at farms or wastewater treatment plants. This approach aims to activate local communities and reduce operating costs through the use of renewable energy sources.
Also on display at the fair will be the Procity 12M Diesel model, which is already enjoying some popularity in Poland, especially in Silesia. Autobags believes that their wide range of vehicles-from midibuses to articulated buses, with a variety of propulsion options-will allow them to meet the diverse needs of customers, regardless of the size of the center or the preferred fuel type.
The company aims not only to provide vehicles, but also to actively participate in shaping the ecological and economic future of public transportation in Poland.
