BMC brand celebrates its 60th anniversary

Founded in 1964, BMC, one of Turkey’s leading manufacturers of commercial and military vehicles, is celebrating 60 years of existence.
Since its founding, the company has played a key role in the development of Turkey’s automotive industry and remains one of its biggest innovators today.
Initially, the company made its market debut with the establishment of Turkey’s first automotive parts foundry, followed by such pioneering projects as the first production of diesel engines, the opening of the first vocational training center, the creation of the first turbocharged vehicle, the country’s first light commercial vehicle, the first eco-friendly natural gas bus, the first fully low-emission low-floor bus, and the first domestic production of tactical military vehicles on wheels.
With these innovations, BMC continues to play a leading role in both the defense sector and the commercial vehicle field.
BMC stands out for its wide range of production, including both civilian commercial and military vehicles, in various configurations – from buses to trucks, mine-armored vehicles, tactical wheeled vehicles to tracked and unmanned land vehicles.
In addition, BMC, being the first indigenous manufacturer of commercial vehicles to begin exporting to Europe, has continually added value to the country, exporting its products to more than 80 countries and maintaining its position as the leading exporter in the defense land vehicle sector.
Celebrating 60 successful years, BMC continues its mission with a focus on technological innovation, sustainable manufacturing and a customer-centric approach to support all stakeholders and business partners while maintaining its market leadership.
